Hello, I’m Lee, the person behind The Sharp Edge Blade Sharpening Services.

By day, I work full-time as a gardener and maintenance operative at a prestigious wedding venue set within a large working estate. My role is incredibly varied, taking me from maintaining formal gardens and landscaped grounds to working alongside agricultural equipment and machinery used across the farm. As a result, I rely on a wide range of cutting tools every single day—from kitchen knives used by catering teams to hedge trimmers, secateurs, mower blades and chainsaw chains.

When your livelihood depends on your tools, you quickly learn that sharp, well-maintained blades aren’t a luxury—they’re essential. A properly sharpened tool works more efficiently, produces better results, reduces unnecessary strain and ultimately saves valuable time. Keeping equipment performing at its best has always been an important part of how I work.

Although blade sharpening began as a practical necessity for my own equipment, it soon became something I genuinely enjoyed. There’s something deeply satisfying about restoring a tired, blunt blade back to peak performance and knowing it’ll make someone’s work easier and more enjoyable.

Blade sharpening isn’t my full-time profession—it’s something I choose to do because I take pride in it. Every knife, pair of scissors or garden tool is sharpened with the same care and attention that I expect from the tools I use myself.
